About the Role

We're looking for a sharp Content Researcher to join Infinity Media — someone with a generalist mindset who's always plugged into the news cycle and always ahead of the trend. You'll be the intelligence layer behind our content engine, surfacing the stories, angles, and insights that fuel our creative output across social platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Trend Intelligence: Monitor news cycles, social platforms, and cultural conversations daily to identify what's breaking, what's building, and what's worth covering
  • Content Mining: Dig deep into topics to uncover fresh angles, data points, and narratives that haven't been told yet
  • Research Briefs: Package your findings into clear, actionable briefs for writers, strategists, and creatives to execute on
  • Audience Pulse: Understand what our audience cares about and why — translating platform signals into research priorities
  • Fact-Checking: Verify claims, sources, and data before content goes live — accuracy is non-negotiable
  • Cross-Platform Scanning: Stay active across TikTok, X (Twitter), Reddit, Instagram, Google Trends, and newsletters to catch stories early
  • Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Storytelling and Strategy teams to keep the content pipeline fed and moving

What We're Looking For

  • A genuinely curious mind — you read widely, follow closely, and connect dots others miss
  • Strong grasp of what's trending across pop culture, digital media, business, and social conversations
  • Ability to research fast without sacrificing depth or accuracy
  • Comfort working across multiple topics and industries — a true generalist
  • Excellent written communication for summarizing and briefing research clearly
  • Familiarity with research tools, Google Trends, social listening, and news aggregators
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with daily and weekly deadlines

  • Experience in journalism, digital media, or editorial research
  • Prior work in a content agency or newsroom environment
  • Familiarity with SEO and how search intent shapes content strategy
  • A personal habit of curating newsletters, bookmarks, or trend reports
